This man has been rotating in my head since I finished the archon quest and I need to take a moment to just talk about him.
Like the first impression he gives off from the trailers in general was that he was rather cold and strict but when you meet him he's genuinely sweet and a little bit awkward and it was such a pleasant surprise. Ray Chase did an amazing job at voicing him, not that I expected anything less.
(EDIT: IN THIS TWEET (ARCHON QUEST PART 2 SPOILERS) RAY CHASE SAID THAT HE WENT BACK TO RE-RECORD ALL HIS LINES AFTER THE ARCHON QUEST BECAUSE HE FOUND A NEW UNDERSTANDING OF NEUVILLETTE'S CHARACTER AND THAT MAKES ME FEEL SO WARM AND HAPPY)
It's the way he carries himself with such elegance but he still stops to greet the melusines and has done for centuries, THOSE ARE HIS BABIES GRAAHHHH!!!!
The fact that he is oh so gentle in his demeanor but when he needs to he springs into action but still has that grace and effortless power about him. Rotating him faster.

Probably not going to get better than Ralsei’s offer since he is demon royalty, and both the ability to command the beasts and promises of no permanent death are pretty good perks. However, the other demon-adjacent people wandering around the Dark World would have their own offers to make for a human soul…Tasque Manager would probably offer them immunity to physical harm from weapons, Clover would offer past and future sight, etc. Rouxl’s offer is basically knowing exactly where to go to get to the fountain. It’s a kinda useful offer in that Kris wouldn’t get lost, but leaves them screwed over in all other ways, and isn’t really worth their soul. So they at least ended up with Ralsei first!

Although skeletons wearing human costumes sounds really freaky and unsettling, but when you think about it…aren’t we all actually just…skeletons in human costumes…
